Bj\u00f8rn Andreas Johans\u00f8nn L\u00f8kken’s Book<\/h1>\n

With his permission, I’ll be adding the first two chapters of a book written by our cousin\u00a0Bj\u00f8rn Andreas Johans\u00f8nn L\u00f8kken, from Trondheim in Norway. It will take awhile. I need to translate it, but it’s a fascinating read so far! He’s traced our line back to England in the late 1500s. The time of\u00a0William Shakespeare. He tells the story of how our ancestors made the move to Norway, got involved in mining and\u00a0more.<\/p>\n

Salem,\u00a0Massachusetts wasn’t the first place to have\u00a0witch trials. A much larger version happened in Norway.\u00a0One ancestor “the witch from Rendalen” Ragnild Nordset, came very close to getting burned on the fire in 1671.<\/p>\n

Use the menu at left to navigate the pages. “Bj\u00f8rn Book” had a submenu, but it didn’t seem to work on an iPad. I put Capter One directly below in the menu.<\/strong><\/p>\n
