The Woman in the Photos

Who was the other woman in the series of photos we have of Caroline? Her name was Laura, and she was a lifelong friend of Caroline, but who exactly was she and what happened to her? It turns out she’s Caroline’s Aunt. She was the sister of Thomas Olson’s wife Johanna.

Here’s Jonas, Ingeborg & Johanna Holm.  Johanna was born in 1858 in Strinda, a suburb of Trondheim.
